Agreed. I can't wait for the next 2 episodes, I think Logan has some nice surprises for us.

Loved it, and Vanessa's "I will never serve you" - with Dracula's "No, I don't want you to serve me Vanessa, I want to serve you, the Mother of Evil."

Would love that since the whole premise is based on ancient Egypt anyway.

"Such is our power, such is our kingdom, such is my kiss."

Ah yes, that wife ;)

I don't remember which episode(s) from season 2, but we do get bits and pieces from the investigation. I remember John looking at photos of Danny's scorched body as well. Not only did John murder his own brother, but he manipulated the investigation as well.

John's face when Diana confronts him was superbly acted by Chandler. I loved how she emphasized the word "could" in "what you've done COULD destroy us". She didn't has "has", or "will"….but "could". We realize more about Diana's character here, she's ready to be the Sheriff's wife and doesn't want any dirt to get

This show had some poignant moments. It was one of the better historical dramas on TV. I'll give it a go.

Victor has an addictive personality. His line from season 1 I think "Scientifically
speaking, life’s nothing but a series of chemical reactions. So, to accelerate or decelerate that process is of no great matter. It gives us that illusion of power in a life with little, does it not? And yes, it becomes an addiction

So if I recall from episode 1, when Kaetenay reaches out to Ethan across the desert, he is depicted as a snake in Ethan's images. There are so many "creatures of the night" represented here. Vanessa = scorpion, Ethan = wolf, Dracula = bat, etc. It seems like the snake has a connection to Kaetenay - I say he's

I really enjoyed season 1, and enjoyed season 2 also, though not as much (will not discuss spoilers). It's a slow burn, but I like it for this reason. It's almost like seeing a headline in the news that you know will be disturbing, but you just can't help but click on it. I think what draws me to it is that it

Very cool. Also sort of explains why she had more of a modern look to her…

I read an article a while back where Logan said Lily's arc is crucial to the story. I'm very curious, especially with 3 episodes left.

Was it ether, though, or the serum that will magically make her submissive again?

Hmm, wonder if Sir Malcolm used a silver bullet on Ethan's dad……

Once a queen, always a queen.

I'm not sure he would want that "life" for his son. It doesn't seem like a path he would willingly choose.

Lyle, oh dear Lyle, did explain the relationship between Amunet and Amun-Ra, and their plan to unleash darkness over the Earth, but he didn't bring up Imhotep and Amenhotep. This was the first time he mentioned Imhotep.

Say it isn't so, it's the best thing on TV at the moment, other than Peaky Blinders!

Imhotep and Amenhotep were both architects who were later deified. Interestingly, they were worshiped as brothers. Could it be that Lucifer/Dracula are manifestations of these old Egyptian spirits? After all, the ancient Egyptians were masterful at life after death………
