Definitely!

I want this to happen so bad.

Lol!

Exactly!

Great point!

Except right now the comments at this point aren't even talking about SJW part. We're saying his entire explanation isn't all that lucid or well-reasoned if it comes to it.

Agreed. The guy didn't make amazing points or if he brought them up, well his answer of well we ultimately just went with white is less than brilliant I must say.

LOL. This comment pretty much sums up his argument full stop.

"Not really. He says the ancient one is a racist character. Well don't make him a racist character. You're willing to change the race, why not just make it a better character?"

Perfect description of what's really the root of the terms usage!

Yeah no one is really seeming to pick up on how weird the rest of his defensive argument was. Everyone here is saying SJW was bad but the rest was fine. I think the rest was garbled and the SJW just shows his argument to begin with kind of wasn't all that compelling.

Same. Although I think him using it goes to show his defensive oversensitive mindset, you're right his overall argument to me didn't hole a lot of water.

I agree. I do not like that the word is used as a demraning phrase against people who point out when something racially or culturally insensitive is done or said. Someone pointed out to me that the word gypsy is actually a derogatory term a couple of years ago. And you know what I might have cringed internally at

Here's what I don't like about the whole notion of not wanting to cast a POC for a role that might be seen as a cultural stereotype. How about, I don't know, not writing it as stereotypical. Fleshing out the character enough that he or she is real but still allowing POC main roles. The argument against hiring a POC

Oh man the synergy humor of these two comments is amazing

This movie does not need to be remade. That said if they are please don't let cumberbatch do a terrible American accent. Just stick with his British voice.

The baby carrot isn't so strong as Moffat's deep set women issues I think. Like he also wrote Sherlock calling that woman a 'whore' for no good reason. He writes Sherlock as overcompensating in a big way and yet all these ladies love him. Sherlock is the world's biggest Mary Sue ever.

I read your comment and immediately thought 'wow, you're absolutely right' and mad at myself for not picking up on that and being mad about that before because I'm usually sensitive to that sort of thing.
But I think part of the reason why I didn't get that vibe (although you are absolutely correct in everything you

Okay I'm no DC stan, the first Superman was way below expectations and DKR was crap and I refuse to see SvB, but like what are you talking about? Every studio puts out a crapton of campaigning. Especially Marvel. They're having and entire week dedicated to their stuff on Jimmy Kimmel even.

Yes please
