Based on the comics there is a greater narrative point to be made. It's not Mad Men or Breaking Bad, but it's a damn good show based on a great comic. They have to fill in a lot of emotion that the comics don't have to. I didn't like the cliffhanger gimmick but you guys are relentless haters. Lol.
