I know it's Family Guy, but it's relevant, damn it!

Pinkerton received mixed reviews, but it wasn't a commercial embarrassment like this album was.

I don't recall people thinking the degree of homophobia depicted has been unrealistic—just that it's been a bit dreary, yet another depressing story about LGBT young people. Even if you don't agree with that opinion, there's a difference between the two that I think it's important to clarify.

>Just because many of us are now able to live in relative safety does not
mean that this story becomes less valid because it isn't reflective of
our own contemporaneous experiences.

Sure. It equally fits with him being straight though. There's no effort within the movie itself to make his sexuality any different than the typical heterosexuality. It's kind of like JK Rowling announcing that Dumbledore is gay…after the series ended, and it wasn't at all evident in the books despite the myriad

>over the album literally EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE WORLD proclaimed best in '15

>It was too good for that.

I agree that a comparison can be made in general. I'm just pointing out that Yeezus in particular is a terrible album and should only be compared with the output of post-1980 Bowie.

I'm practically aghast. :o

This review is almost a decade and a half old.

>and Yeezus was his Low

""Is it okay if I swallow?" *giggles*"

*starts shooting rifle haphazardly*

I too was flummoxed by that seeming typo.

Except John Teti.

Bad News Bears is a kids' movie with the kind of ending you talk about. The ragtag team of lovable misfits miraculously makes it to the finals, the gruff coach discovers his heart of gold, etc…only, they lose. They celebrate anyway, because hot damn, they had a hell of a run.

But it's not problematic to slut shame guys, right?

"No one said that, but it would have been more true to the times and the story."

Which characters are gay besides Clarke's lady love interest? And yeah, as Captcha said, the queer content on The 100 is existent, which is nice, but certainly not THAT big a part of the show, and there are other shows that feature queer content/relationships more prominently.

lol, happily out there in heteroland
