I had assumed they wouldn't actually address Edna's disappearance in-show (other than the various dedications in the credits etc.) because that's what they did with Phil's characters. Season 12's "HOMR" (one of the very last great episodes imo) is one letter shorter. This might be 2nd shortest though. I also think about weird things.
