Taken out of context and exaggerated so you could give an absurd example.

Consistently with what you WANTED the character to do.

Yeah, but you signed up for a show that was based on an absurd premise to begin with. Aspects of it were grounded in realism, especially Nas' home life. But c'mon…is it actually "realistic" that a mostly inexperienced guy from a religious background would impulsively go home with a girl the same night she's murdered?

Didn't say anything resembling that but ok.

Your point being…?

When I said "fiction" I really meant "art."

I'm aware. Yet, the number of bunched panties in this comments section over miniscule details is mind boggling and uncomfortable.

I mean…when I watch fiction, all I care about is how artfully the creator(s) illustrated themes and proved their thesis. Couldn't care less about how "realistic" a character behaves because characters are *fictional* and are ALWAYS the means to an end for a writer.

Omg can you nerds ever just sit back and enjoy fiction without dissecting it into a million little meaningless pieces?

This is fiction.
