As a person with little children I would still never buy a 2DS. I would however pay the same cost as a 3DSXL for a 2DSXL which had no 3D and some sturdy ass reinforced hinges.

And clearly the comments should have been "glorious".

I'm the same way. I actually used to return to old pages all the time to play old favorites with my son. Once upon an incredibly frustrating go at one of the games I even necroposted on a thread about it to complain.

I personally prefer the "large clump of games" format. Its rarity as a feature means its not something you have to constantly look out for and the wide selection increases the chance that I'll find something of interest to me.
