It's especially heartbreaking because the relationship between Bill & Capaldi was amazing. I didn't love Capaldi's Doctor the last 2 seasons, but this season it's all come together for me. I've actually enjoyed Who this season more than I have in a while. All too short.

Yeah, season 2 was universally poo-pooed. I definitely didn't enjoy it. If they'd've done an entirely new case for season 2 (like they did for season 3) it would have worked 100% better.
