Flagged for mentioning the flagging, which is a flaggable offense.

I have three older sisters and an older brother and inherited some records and a stereo/turntable from them before I started figuring out my own musical tastes. It was one of those gigantic stereo consoles about 6' wide and 3' high that people used to have in their living rooms. I'm sure that's why it was left at home

I hope it's because the spider eggs inside his head finally hatched and spiders are bursting out.

The thing is, as a robot, he wouldn't exist except for science. Someone inform him of this so he will have a processing error and shut down.

Jonny, Hadji, Dr. Quest, and Bandit will be accompanying him.

I have that on vinyl somewhere, though I haven't had a turntable set up in at least 15 years. I probably have their vinyl albums up to around ~1990 when CDs started to become popular. Now everything can be a file and not take up any physical space. Plus all the concerts that can be viewed on YouTube. I would never

That's very kind, thank you.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

I watched the video of Geddy filling in for Chris Squire on bass with Yes and joked to my friend that it must have been a vacation for him. He didn't have to play the bass, sing, play keyboards, and operate the Moog pedals all at the same time.

He did. I live on a farm upstate, so he didn't even have to go anywhere. We went on a lot of hiking and cross-country ski trips over the years. He was a big German Shepherd-Golden Retriever mix (as far as anyone could tell - though the Shepherd part was obvious), and so gentle with everyone. The only time he ever bit

Thank you. He died on his bed in the house and I had been checking on him during the night to let him know I loved him. I don't think he suffered.

Thank you. It is hard but I'll cope. It helps to have this place where I can share it with people.

Thank you.

I remember when people used to tape nickels to the tone arm to keep the needle from skipping. It probably wasn't very good for the records.

I know. As I mentioned in this thread, my dog died over the weekend. He'd been struggling with walking for a while but was doing OK. Friday he was still going, but by Sunday evening he couldn't even pick up his head. I was going to take him to the vet Monday morning but he didn't make it. I'm sorry for what you'll

Thank you.

Wow. I thought it was bad when I read about people stealing books from the little free libraries around Minneapolis-St. Paul and selling them. At least stealing to make a profit is a rational - if immoral - motivation.

Thank you.

I find Power Windows to be where they really went into that mode. The whole album seems to be really, I don't know, spacious. I can't describe it that well, but you can understand when you listen to it.

Thank you. He was well over 13 years old and it wasn't completely unexpected, but it's difficult to accept. That's him in my profile picture.
