I actually liked the razor moment. It doesn't seem all that unlikely that a family heirloom would be passed down from father to son over all those years, and it made for a chilling moment when Claire realized the razor being used on Black Jack was the same one she'd used on Frank.

Ditto - that was definitely a change for the better.

I loved that moment, too. Dougal almost said it with fondness.

Maybe it wasn't as clear in the show, but in the book Claire mentioned her not being a virgin (something Jamie would've already known, given that she's a "widow") as a last attempt to get out of a forced marriage to him. She hoped that might make Jamie rethink it. So much for that!
