Eh, I'm done with this show. For all its faults, Arkham Origins showed how to do a prequel with plenty of call forwards without beating you over the head. By the 4th episode there should be some sense of basic fucking direction of where the plot is working towards and what the characters' inspiration are.

So yeah, I finally got into this series. I've never been a fan of
Pilots so I figured, what the hell why not go with the most recent
episode?

Oh great. So in other words, besides a bunch of Smallville-esque "clever" call-forwards to when the mythos ACTUALLY BECOMES INTERESTING, we can look forward to his character griping about "wishing he could move to Miami", "Gotham having a 20% murder solve rate" and a bunch of other half-assed actor allusions.
