High School… he was "mister athlete" competing in just about every sport the school seemed to offer (I remember him in baseball season when football season ended). Realistic? Not quite, but grounded enough. College? Yeaah. At a buck forty… he can't fulfill any position except towel-boy.

Well, you KNOW that Frankie would be carrying a purse full of her own pretzels & nuts… hell, she keeps a half eaten candy bar in her shoe at home.

Is there really anywhere that has 10 cent beer in today's world?
Get drunk for less than a buck.

Galaga. My my my… it is one of… if not THE best early 80's arcade games of all time. It's basically a 'clone' of Space Invaders, except so much better, kind of like how Ms. Pac-Man was infinitely better than Pac-Man.

Bev didn't curse, but Murray sure did!

…but if Mike & Frankie had their keys in their pockets, like most people… how would they get the cars home?

The whole Phil storyline kind of pissed me off. There were clear dog sounds, and the kids & Claire kept covering it up with their own "sounds". C'mon, a dog sound is clearly a dog sound. The payoff that Phil knew who the dog belonged to actually hurt it even more.

Everyone's getting too old for their parts now. Phil can't be playing the same goof he was known for. When the kids grow up like they are, he has to grow up a little too. Lily isn't as adorable as she used to be (was she ever?). Joe's head is way too big for his body. Looks like a Fisher Price Little People figure.

I'm a little curious… wonder how they filmed the whole sequence/scene with Jay at the hockey game. There was an entire crowd there, and sure looked like a real hockey game going on. Maybe exhibition before the actual game began & got the scene in real quick?

I can't say The Middle was one of the best of the season, because it wasn't. It just seemed to take a few more baby steps in progression. I wondered why they kept the football story going with Axl, and it makes sense that he has a scholarship which is mainly why he's on it… because let's face it, Charlie McDermott is

I agree it was one of the best ones.

Sadly, we didn't get to see the Fun Dip Bar or the Ghostbusters Quartet (Despite Adam & Pops having a Ghostbusters uniform), nor the Galaga Tournament.

Yes and no. There was indeed a comic strip that took place in the Star Wars universe between episodes 5/6, which was Revenge of the Jedi.

A couple things I noticed on Goldbergs that stuck with me…
- Notice the "Revenge of the Jedi" poster. If memory strikes me, that was the 'in-between' comic strip between Empire & Jedi movies, right?
- What was that drawing of a robot on Adam's door? It seemed almost a throwaway background prop, but there has to be

In case you all missed it… Adam's Chalkboard of "Best" Birthday. This would have been my best birthday in the 80's if I got all these, too.

What happens if you have something negative to say? Does your thumb go down?

I didn't realize that Mike drove a different car until it was pointed out. I had to look back and see what he really drove. The one reason that raised suspicion is that although he hid the car, that was one key thing the driver noticed… so apparently, Mike is 100% badass with no flaws in his plan.

"Girls being girls being girls being girls girl group! Girls being girls being girls - being girls".

Wasn't episode 100 "Stand by Gene"?
I thought episode 100, taunted much earlier in the year, was supposed to be about someone getting stuck on the toilet.

Yay, next week we get an old 1-time character Dottie Minerva returning… or is it Misty Gish? Or… is it Girl#3?
