I learned a new word today: deuteragonist, the second most important character after the protagonist. Awesome sauce! I love new words!

I loved this movie, because it had a girl kicking ass and I hadn't really seen that before. I liked her struggle to balance slaying and the prom, and realizing how shallow her life was and taking stock of it. I think I could see that there were deeper things under the surface, which struck a chord with me as a junior

Saw it today and it was amazing. Every moment felt earned and Stewart and Jackman really went all in for this. AND, the writers threaded enough of a subplot to make a very interesting X23 movie if they choose, but they don't hit you over the head with it. This movie really honored the characters before everything else.

Will someone please explain the steampunk interlude? Who are those guys? I kept thinking, 'is this a dream sequence?' It felt like filler.
