The showrunners must think BJR is a homosexual, their original script for ep 16 had BJR asking Jamie to elope to the colonies with him. Where'd they get that idea. Probably from the book text.

I'm looking for where it says "because he was raped by a man" and nope, I don't see that stated here. There's been far too many ongoing comments about Jamie's sexuality since S1. Moore says debate about Jamie's sexuality is fair game and he's curious about the takeaway. Who's the f-g moron.

[SPOILER,
May I add, from Claire's meeting with BJR at Holyrood, Dragonfly in Amber, chapter 38, BJR says:

You missed that the original script for ep 16 had BJR proposing elopement, to Jamie Fraser ? And taking off for the colonies together ? Check DG's CompuServe comments. You'll see her revealing that little gem. Additionally, in the podcast for ep 16, Ira and Ron have a huge chuckle while BJ is doing rape #2 on

Jamie attacks Alex in the book? I don't think so. Jamie stood as still as a lion, and when Claire woke up from her faint, Alex was kneeling over her, with Jamie behind him.

No, not "exactly" like the book. What's missing is Fergus fetching Jamie to Claire and Mary, Jamie swoops down off the roof to take charge and save the rest of the day, blue eyes black and dangerous. He cuts Murtagh loose out of the bag he was in, and I imagine it was Jamie who then carried Mary home since Murtagh's

Late, but FWIW, I do remember seeing that June 4 article, Sigrid. Additionally, these Albrecht statements can be googled to get to source articles, both in 2014.

More spoiler: And may I add, let's remember BJ's response when he runs into Jamie at the DOS, his pleading "Jamie." As well as his recounting to Claire what he experienced with Jamie at WW, and what he and Claire "share"; Claire thinks it sounds like a lover's lament.

The chart says -30.77%. Yeah, that's more like 20, right. I did not originally address you directly and do feel free to buzz off my odd comments, any time.

Matt fails to point out that from ep 201 to 202, they LOST almost 31 percent in demo, and lost 15% in overall viewers. For ep 3, they had an increase of only 3.7 percent in demo (meaning they didn't gain back all they'd lost) and they had a 2% loss in overall viewers. So yeah, he can spin it all he wants. Yes,

With Jenny ? Jenny tells Claire she remembers words she's read while she waulks wool. That sends Claire into her memory of her own visit to the waulking shed, about 3 paragraphs. She remembers what the women did and said, and never thinks of Jenny as present. It's all there. In chapter 34…..

It's not odd at all. He's not telling her book story. He's using her characters and making them do and say things opposite from the book. It went from his shallow promise "we promise to make a faithful adaptation for the book fans" to "loosely based on"

Ratings took a dive from record 201 to 202. I expect it to dive again. We'll see.

The wool waulking was not Moore's no matter what he and Terry say. It's straight out of DIA ch. 34.

Gotta say, I don't think Ron's version of OL would ever sell the books DG did. Not even close.

Don't even bother going there. Nobody said it, and this is a fantasy story, so let's dispense with all the PC.

We all have our lines in the sand. I guess yours is The Dresden Files. I promise to be sympathetic if I see you bent out of shape. :)

Moore is about spectacle over substantive deep characters. And I can't imagine men are enjoying watching a traumatized and weak highlander and a badass empowered bossy woman. And by the way ? There's MORE brothels coming in subsequent eps. Loving your "Moore's Outlander."

I believe their marriage is fully restored by the last page of OL as I detailed in my above reply to PunkRock. You are correct, Jamie has ongoing nightmares, yet remains fully functional as a man and husband. He promised Claire the one year on BJs life, and DG gives him revenge for Fergus as the impetus for the duel,

DG’s book is time travel and blue light healing and exploding stones and more fantasy than you can shake a stick at. Which includes at its center, a fantastical soul mate connection. Can we stop already with the “it’s more realistic” and give the fans back their fantasy - fans that bought 25 + million books about a
