well, last week she lead a slaughter on her former village; then as the bodies piled up, she bemoans 'these are my people'…
i'm really not liking this recent portrayal of lagertha.
shooting someone in the back as they are walking away is such a cowardly thing to do.

the credit really belongs to fimmel for his performance. he is so captivating in that role.

there's an interview with linus and travis on youtube that's worth checking out..

he looks like every tweaker who hung out with my ex-brother in law…

yeah… let's keep in mind ragnar's trip to uppsala to beg the gods 'who will bear my sons'… while ducking lagertha's anxious look. he's hardly the innocent at the mercy of the calculating princess.

omg… hayley mills — that's it! i knew there was someone he was reminding me of… lol

the comment is made during an interview conducted by aisha tyler (pretty funny and charming — well, except for the story about him/an std/some random girl) and that particular part starts around the 50min mark.

the goodbye scene between ragnar and floki was heartbreaking; the sex scene was lame and gratuitous; and fimmel is terrific as ever.
there's a funny interview with him that the inscrutableness of his acting is credited to him seeking guidance from hirst the character's trajectory… and hirst didn't know what he was

that is the most astute and succinct description of trumpsters i have seen. thanks.

wonder if joe scarbro is angling to replace him… lol

ho hum… time for a nap, grandpa.

more screen time…
edit: just saw a promo for next season and lagertha is definitely alive and looking as fierce as ever, although a bit older.

so aslaug finally ascended to the position of power she craved and plotted for… what happens when king ragnar turns up at the new digs?
and what the hell happened to lagertha and why wasn't this addressed in some way? such bullshit how she's been diminished, with the exception of the miscarriage/murder scenes, her

re kavanagh.. i just figure it was a 'thank you' to him for all of the hours and hours he sat for the seer's make-up to be applied; and to finally let the audience know what he actually looks like…

the king did say 'there's one more thing'… after the request for approval of the sister…

bummer life for aslaug… guess plotting to be queen wasn't worth it afterall.. her only friend drowned saving her boys (poor little siggy - died just like her namesake); no one in kattegat likes her; her husband is finished with her; and her youngest is already plotting how to take her out once dad heads off to

well, in the preview for next week, it looks like torvi has snagged someone's crossbow and has it aimed at someone….

i think part of it is to make ragnar into a very unsympathetic character for the audience… who will not be sad to see him go and more accepting when the next time jump happens and the focus is on the sons. (i think fimmel was more than ready to leave the show)
i also think that jrm is going to portray alfred the

yes. and i'm still amazed by the longboats. imagine crossing the friggin oceans in those — no shelter, and barely any depth to them. those were some astonishingly tough and resilient people.

spoiler alert via photo of wounded ragnar. (this was posted below but likely got lost among other comments):
