I agree mostly with the part about liking Star Wars being an unpopular thing in the early 90s, it was almost counter-culture. Liking comic book characters wasn't cool, shit, reading wasn't cool. Now I see Potter nerds, and I respect the community, but "they've never had it so easy!"

No Way Out laundered more tracks than Mad Decent. There is a certain charm to its cynicism, and there's half a good album there. I loved Fat Of The Land, but listen to Jilted Generation and Experience more. I'd love to hear The Prodigy try an acid house track again. There's a couple of classics in the list, so I'll

Man, I saw a few episodes recently, and the shit Cartman said took my breath away. They stopped killing Kenny, but unchallenged racism is still a ratings winner?

You're right. PC is basically politeness. You're just going along with how someone would like to be addressed, and treated. If it gets extreme, all it tests is your patience.
Because of PC, we were able to get edgy or smart, but sincere, comics who were able to straddle the line of PC and offence.
Too many idiots

Their even-handedness became annoying as of Team America, though I appreciate that was a different time, and as Americans, they would have a different POV. SP still made hysterical, ground-breaking TV since then, but sometimes there would be a false equivalence that left a bad taste in my mouth (it was your mum, ok).

haha, dude, I turned that film off after the first minute. Seriously.

Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Wedding Singer, Big Daddy - 2 thumbs up
That's My Boy - 1 thumb up
Nuke the rest from orbit.

Currently reading Blood Meridian, and I have to keep re-reading paragraphs. The sentences go on forever. But, I'm enjoying it. You can feel the blood and dust and heat off the pages.

It's pretty much the opposite of a graphic torture scene.

Brass Monkey is one of my favourite Beastie songs, I love the squealing drunk brass instrument on it and the heavy low-end bass. First time i heard was it at one of their last tours in 2005.

The ending of Ringu was one of the most terrifying scenes I've ever seen. Samara (?) being all static like a TV took away a lot of the impact.

Paul Dano. He had such a streak from L.I.E. to Little Miss Sunshine and There Will Be Blood. And Paddy Considine; after Dead Man's Shoes, and Romeo Brass, I'd watch him in anything.

Because you'd be waiting 30mins for the punchline

Survival Car, Joe Rey and his seventeen words for snow that he signs to a deaf girl named Diane, and Leave The Biker - what a great album!

Gotta love LW2 for Jenette Goldstein and Dean Norris - "Get down, get down, get the fuck down!"

To be fair, pretty much every Saffer I've met in London has been alright, and realises how bad apartheid was; though there can be caveats about looking after your property. But, on the whole, cool people. Now, Australians…..

My name is Tit Liquid, and I approve these rankings.

I lived in Demon Days for a year. Fantastic album.

I love Jackass 3, partly because you can see the cast have this look in their eyes - like Bob Hoskins at the end of The Long Good Friday.

I found Raiders! to be kind of dull. Watching the actual remake would have been more fun; this tale was more suited to a hour long tv doc.
