Actually by most accounts Simmons isn't into drugs, nor is Paul Stanley; it was Ace and Peter's substance abuse issues that caused the rift between them.

Yeah, in mere economic terms, which place is better to hold the debate on oversight:

You can't control a metaphor, but you can be blatantly wrong about what inspired a work of art, and Civil War is about the Bush years.

I loved it when it was running because it was the X-Men on my TV every Saturday, but, yeah, it didn't age well.

And points out "you don't realize I am a god and what that means, do you?"

Only that's with hindsight. At the time it was obviously riffing on the issues raised by the War on Terror, the Patriot Act, and the question of how much freedom should we sacrifice to be safe.

I'm pretty sure this has already been said, but screw it: Civil War is not about gun control. It was a commentary on the post 9-11 notion of "how much freedom are you willing to surrender for security." Mass shootings had nothing to do with it.

Those episodes existed for a reason: they were to keep the show from catching up to the manga. Long running anime based on a manga tends to have filler arcs that allow this: DBZ had only one filler arc, mainly because Toriyama intended it to end after Frieza and was convinced to continue, so time was needed to be

Magnum P.I.'s opening theme had that kick ass "IT'S ON" guitar riff going for it. That shit rocked.

Mixed it up with the plot of Rainbow Six, from the sound of it.

I saw it during the original run. It was glorious.

The novel ends with the survivors escaping while the local army blows up the dinosaurs, doesn't it?

Yeah, it was like an 11:30 am showing or so. I'm pretty sure it didn't stay up for long, but it got through.

Iron Banner is dropping mad loot this time. The gear drops from the start and is 3-4 LL above your current LL, so when I hit it at 326, I was seeing +330 drops. I'm a solo player and I'd been stuck at 313 for weeks, so hitting 330 yesterday pleased me to no good end.

This clearly is something that works better in offices. I work in construction, so you're not likely to see walking liability on the sites.

I saw TDKR in one of its earliest showings the afternoon after the shootings, and it still had the trailer for Gangster Squad where the movie theater gets shot up and you could practically feel the audience wince at it. Kind of hung over the theater the rest of the way. Most subdued movie crowd I've ever been in.

If I'd have to pick one for the experience, it was seeing Return of the Jedi.

Holy shit i never knew how awesome that Grammy performance was.

Uhm.

How about the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel?
