1976 would like a word with you.

Ahh, Fiona.
I just plain left my TV on after X-Files was done, so Lucifer was on in the background, and it just kind of slowly dawned on me that someone was turning a pretty cool comic book into yet another Fox procedural show with a lead character with unusual perception into people. And found it hilarious and awful at once that…
"THAT'S A FARGIN TRICK QUESTION."
It's a parody of 1960s spy movies and TV shows. Bond wasn't the only game in town back then, just the best known.
Where I lived got HBO around 1978 or so, and Murder By Death was on roughly every other day for a year back then. Glad to see it hasn't been forgotten.
Oh Johnny Dangerously is one of my favorite movies ever because it just keeps bringing the hits, over and over again. The running gag with the newspaper guy getting flattened by newspapers and developing new infirmities, Roman Moroni and his fargin' accent, the scene where Johnny blows up his nightclub with a bomb…
I drifted away from watching non-sports television around, I dunno 2009 or so-if something sounded cool, I bought the DVD sets-and really now only watch Agents of Shield and Agent Carter as part of a family TV night with my mom (she loves Marvel stuff, it's pretty neat given her usual tastes), which may make what I…
The old rumor was it was deleted because of the legal fight with Phil Soussan over "Shot In The Dark", but that's been mildly debunked. If I had to guess, Jake E. Lee refused to record the album until he had a hard and fast contract giving him the credits he got screwed out of on Bark At The Moon, and deleting the CD…
Man, all this guy needed was like four early music videos pop up on MTV when they played anything they could get their hands on and he'd have been huge.
I grew up watching the old Doctor Who, so to me, I generally give bad effects a pass if everything around it passes muster.
THAT'S what it reminded me of. Was nagging at me all day.
The usage of modern conspiracy theories is pretty much necessary to keep the show current, but, man, it felt really clumsy in how it was done.
Doing Sherlock and Doctor Who at once was why Series 6 is such a hot mess. That was like filming 3 movies while doing a TV series at the same time.
Before the show came back, I was a pretty huge Lawrence Miles fan. Around the time Moffat took over-and boy did that piss him off, even though back then that was so obvious a choice-I decided to re-read his books.
I love Moffat's run, but in all honesty, I think he should've went out with that last Christmas special, because that wrapped up everything he's done with the series since Series 4 perfectly and the show's feeling a little worn out-though "Heaven-sent" stunned me.
The Rust in Peace line up. Which nearly re-united for Dystopia, so it was kind of a slap in the face to Menza and Friedman.
I did, and posted about it here. It's pretty much Proof 1 for "Dave Mustaine knows shit about politics."
The Cosby Show barely kept NBC afloat in the 80s and early 90s?
Does anyone take Dave Mustaine seriously anymore?
