When Marnie walked out of Charlie's barefoot, all I could do was shout, "Come on, even when distraught, even as a tourist, you know better than to walk barefoot on NYC streets." Ewww

I know when i first moved to DC after grad school (in NC), I didn't know anyone. I used to find reasons to go to Harris Teeter (an NC-based chain) b/c for some reason, it made me feel better. Strange how that happens…

I didn't quite get what Aidy Bryant was doing there though, why she showed up. I kept waiting for her to be like, "I'm here to offer your job back." They weren't pals while she was working there right? So why check in after she canned Shosh?

I'm all for being body-comfortable but…That thong bathing suit she was hiking in…a) you wouldn't wear a thong bathing suit to hike in and b) it's like she chooses outfits that no one except maybe Heidi Klum would look attractive in, and wears them just out of spite. I get why she does it-b/c she can so why not-but

Exactly…

Yeah plus, if you're gonna do a period piece and nail all sorts of things, then do it. Don't fuck around…I thought the exact same thing.

And the garbage in the streets…

I thought it was he just left the business altogether though I dunno if Joey Baga Donuts there would have allowed that on further thought. You might be right on the throat thing.

That was one of the lamer parts of the show, b/c it could be totally obvious foreshadowing Annie will move…She hooks up with a dude who lives/is going back to Memphis who she'll fall for, and her manager wants her to go to Nashville. Cmon, this show is better than that.
