He's said that he wants four, maximum of five seasons.

There are a lot of comedic anthologies in the works (one on HBO, one on TBS, one on TV Land) + Hulu has Dimension 404 (a sci-fi anthology) coming. Plus there's Black Mirror on Netflix.
Not to sound spam bot-y, but you should use Sidereel.com to keep track of your shows. You track stuff you watch and the site gives you a weekly schedule.
I had to read The Old Man and the Sea in high school and while it had punctuation, it didn't have chapters or any type of structure to speak of. Absolute death to get through.
Hulu has Dimension 404 coming.
Nice to see The AV Club unearthed this joke from 1993. Wonder what else is in the time capsule.
Bay EPs Black Sails and that's a pretty cool show.
You mean HBO is working with a movie star and a show creator they've previously worked with? Shocking.
They'll be on the network's website + app.
For the moment, CW shows will just be on the network's website.
Yeah, that was a definite jumping off point for the show. It never really returned to what it was before that happened; it had good moments and brief stretches, but it fell into the trap of going too dark + always trying to out outrageous itself.
Agreed. I think it's very underrated and separated itself from its obvious influences (Sons of Anarchy, Justified) as the season went along.
The way the show handled sexuality wasn't the best, but in that particular instance, it was a character being ignorant and not the show itself. And I'd rather have frank portrayals of casual homophobia vs. unrealistic acceptance from people who honestly wouldn't have the best reaction to something like that.
My local ABC affiliate has the show syndicated Sunday nights/Monday mornings at 12:35 following an episode of Seinfeld. The next episode to air is from season 3.
Is The Daily Show responsible for Wilmore's show skewing old? Or not having a presence on social media?
And is still one of their top-rated shows to go along with that.
Daily Show does well on Hulu + social media. Lots of views on their Youtube account, a much younger skewing audience.
And The Daily Show does much better with younger viewers. If The Nightly Show skewed younger, its small audience wouldn't be as much of a problem. But going old and small is death for shows like this.
The show directly in front of him is hosted by a black man. And I'm sure that Comedy Central will be more inclusive with their choice of host for whatever show they put at 11:30 next.
Amber Rose has a late night show on VH1. She's obviously not doing the same thing that Fallon and Corden are doing, but it's a cute show about pop culture, sex, and relationships fronted by a black woman, so it should be notable.
