Ash vs Evil Dead is also good.

    Yep, zombie animals.

I think they'll know MC Lyte. She's had a decent media profile since her music career died down.

Despite being a (very) liberal agnostic, I love Greenleaf, OWN's new drama about a family that runs a megachurch in Tennessee.

So I'm guessing her character on Queen of the South isn't long for this world.

It's a pretty fun mashup of Lost Girl, Justified, and Supernatural.

That's exactly what I think happened. The season played out like he found out the ending was coming with ~2-3 episodes to go in production and had to quickly wrap things up + provide some sense of finality.

They also renewed 1.0-level Fresh Off the Boat, which they don't produce and which doesn't have two full seasons.

Reign had a pretty-good-verging-on-great season. But because it doesn't appeal to the fanboy crowd, it often gets forgotten. One of the many reasons I hate The CW turning into The DCW.

Great point about Ruby's dad. The show can't lean so hard on the (ludicrously) quick production turnaround and then pull out storylines like this.

I'm pretty sure she hadn't spoken before this episode.

Well said. This season is way too focused on Rachel vs. Quinn.

Yeah, I think this is it for me. I was worried after reading the New Yorker profile on the co-creator, but I liked the show so much last season that I wanted to give it some time to see how things developed. But this season is just unrelentingly mean-spirited and doesn't have rootable contestants (everybody's a…

Season 6 was honestly pretty good. And had an ending that would've made for a great series finale.
