The first half of the season has been much better than the second. I feel like they ran through the story of the seven revenants who invaded the homestead much too quickly. A show like this needs that procedural backbone, otherwise it turns into late-season Lost Girl and nobody wants that.
Crowe writes two of the first three episodes and directs the first six. After that, I'm not sure how the credits stack up.
Yeah, I made it about 20 minutes before I had to stop watching. Really condescending, really earnest, way too much "but what about the MUSIC, maaaaaannnn?" pontificating.
