I can barely bring myself to care about this show anymore. Just so much mediocrity.

One theory on Steven's birth is effectively Rose disappearing in a flash of light , leaving Steven in her place. It is also speculated as being the source of Greg's permanent sunburn.

I really want to see more of Greg & Rose interacting further along in their relationship. Maybe when Rose decided she wanted to have a child and definitely the day Steven was born.

Even reading the descriptions of some of those episodes is still enough to make me laugh.

Well I needed a lighter episode after last week so the adorableness here was appreciated. I can't help but wonder who they had in mind when they crafted this episodes message. There is no shortage of contentious fandom's out there

Well we've got our first appearance of a Lazuras Pit, that was nice. This whole Ra's impersonating the Arrow has got nervous for Captain Lance though. Killing him would be a very fast way to turn the cops and then the city against Oliver

Cisco's scene with Wells was really good. Your first instinct to tell him run but then you realize how hopeless the situation. Then he's just standing there not quite holding back the tears over the betrayal and what is about to happen. It really made the scene hit harder.

Kyle McLachlan seems to having so much fun with this. You really can't help but enjoy his performance. I like that they delved a bit more into Mr. Hyde's origin. Hopefully this means we're a bit closer to him fully transforming.
Really looking for to Edward James Olmos. Hopefully he sticks around for awhile.

One of the storyboarders/writers for the show has stated on Tumblr that Ruby & Sapphire's relationship is a romantic one.

Steven is the anti-brooder. That kid needs to share his emotions, his troubles, with everyone close to him.

That was fantastic. Little Steven has come a long way. Please let Lapis come back at some point. She deserves some good things in her life.
Garnet song has been running through my head for 3 hours now. I may have to except that this I'd my existence now. Well there are worse ways to live.

Well the episode certainly did its job by raising the sense of dread for to marrow while mixing in some lighthearted moments from the townsfolk. Its been a while since a show had me so simultaneously dreading and eagerly anticipating the next episode.

I like the theory that Greg lives in his van because what money he has goes towards supporting Steven. The kid hasn't ever paid for donuts or fry bits as far as I can tell. I imagine Greg having a tab at all of Beach City's restaurants.

Oh God, Garnet checked her future vision and then made it a point to thank Greg for his help. That makes me so freaking nervous for what's to come.

If these recent episodes have anything to teach us it is that grief is complicated. I'm a little worried about Pearl. Worrying about Steven is more or less her default emotional state. Seeing her not freak out about him dangling off the edge of that floating island was complelty OOC. Hopefully this was a temporary

Oh Connie. The worry you get when you introduce a friend to something you like and the relief you feel when they like it too. What a precious nerd.

CW is doing it online and it will tie in with Arrow/Flash

Not to mention Buffy she stopped at least a half dozen Apocalypses. Does any know the plural of Apocalypse?

That bell was one the most tragic things I've seen on TV in a while. Its basically Pcifica's father telling her to STFU while treating her more as a pet rather than his child.

I lean more towards a B+. I thought the rest of the episode made up for they relatively weaker Metahuman adversary. I hope Peak-a-boo gets some more development beyond a woman doing things for the sake of an ungrateful boyfriend.
