*ahem*

It's been a week since I've seen it, and I've still yet to see anyone single out maybe the funniest part of Baby Driver: the nephew.

Baby Driver outgrossed Transformers this weekend, The Beguiled outgrossed The Mummy and Pirates of the Caribbean 5 in one-third the number of theaters as both.

Man, I think I agree with Disney now, I don't like the direction the Han Solo movie was taking.

it me, in the event of that happening

This is an extremely bad omen for my ability to function if I ever meet Soderbergh.

An important update to a post nobody cared about: Mike Malone, the man who played T. Azimuth Schwitters in Schizopolis, recently followed me on Twitter, and just now told me on Twitter that he likes that I have Schwitters as my Twitter avatar. This is honestly too much for me, and I can't even work up the courage to

Yours was great too!

Wow, a shocking implicit burn on SBT there. Just vicious.

I saw The Beguiled today, oh boy

Oh my god, the guy who played T. Azimuth Schwitters just followed me on Twitter.

Mahershala Ali will star in True Detective season 3.

Armageddon has professional actors delivering lines clearly and well, it is nothing compared to the onslaught of amateurishness and monotony that is Border Radio.

It's probably going to keep the lights on for Criterion for a while (especially if they release it and Candles during the holidays), so I can't say I'm too disappointed. And I can't really be disappointed about anything entering the Collection having seen Border Radio, which is as close to actually unwatchable as you

Also also, the film's director confirmed Bodies, Rest & Motion is getting a Criterion Blu-Ray for its 25th anniversary next year.

Not that I'm to argue with commands to see Baby Driver, which is a great movie, but you really oughta see The Beguiled this weekend if you can. My favorite film of the year thus far with a bullet, and most likely the most gorgeous film I'll see this year.

Any of the assorted Pete's Dragon fanatics here should know that that film's Oona Laurence is basically a co-lead in The Beguiled, and she's really fucking good in it. Also, the movie itself is goddamn terrific, but I'll get into that later.

Also, George Romero just got a phantom page from their website, so Night of the Living Dead is probably coming soon too.
