I saw 20th Century Women today, oh boy
I think this is my favorite.
Hey, you should totally see 20th Century Women, not just because of the Planned Parenthood donations or the timeliness to the marches today, but because it's an incredible movie that might be my favorite of the year.
I'm genuinely surprised it got that high, considering confusing endings are a surefire way to tank your Cinemascore and I have to imagine this movie's ending would baffle upwards of 70% of its viewers.
Or 2x2X2x.
Split's opening day total more than doubled that of xXx 2, and it's looking like it'll make upwards of $35 million for the weekend (already nearly four times its budget). It also got Shyamalan's best Cinemascore (a B+) since Sixth Sense.

Honestly, more than Willis's cameo (which I fucking loved too), what really got me was the main theme of James Newton Howard's score playing over the final title card.
And he spends most of his screentime being mocked by Betty Buckley. I fucking loved it.
