I'm with you on a "good" adaptation, A handful of those stories have been made into movies kind of recent and were a pretty mixed bag. Some sort of "Creepshow" style anthology would be outstanding, keeping things short and close to the source material would be the way to go.

I thought I would be the only one here weird enough to think RHR deserved some love. On a side note, that movie adaptation is one of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever seen.
