"I have this mysterious feeling that they are capable of making really good tv."

They currently have Outlander and Survivor's Remorse, both great, Blunt Talk isn't great (yet), but is promising, Power got great reviews on the AVClub. They have Spartacus and Party Down in their back catalogue, and hopefully one day they'll make Steven DeKnight's Incursion.

First three episodes are crummy (most Spartacus fans would agree). In episode 4 the show starts finding its feet. Episode 6 is the first episode I consider legitimately great, and it stays there until the end.

I listened to Maiden's The Book of Souls, and then I listened to it a few more times because it was awesome.

IIRC she had a line in "Let's Kill Hitler" where she said she wanted to gradually look younger just to fuck with everyone's mind.

"young Caesar" … "without wearing much" … "Combining the sweep of 300 with the intrigue of Game of Thrones"

I'd say Attack of the Clones is better. It contains the worst bits from the prequels, the Anakin/Padme romance, but at least it is structurally sound. It's got a solid A-plot and a crummy B-plot that are well set up and converge at the end, just like an episode of TV (which it basically is, especially if you consider

just the right moment, I don’t think it is. I don’t know who it is.

Procedural doesn't mean what you think. It means it's about people doing their jobs (as opposed to being more focused on their private lives), and The Wire, while pretty serialized, was a procedural.
What you mean is "Case* of the week" (* Or anything appropriate, like "monter of the week" for e.g Buffy, etc.)

There is a term for that (as others said below it is the exact same metaphor), but we have this baffling thing in France where basically everyone thinks English sounds fundamentally cooler, so we get people dropping English words in the middle of their sentences while there's a perfectly valid French alternative

Jonas said members of the same cluster are born at the same time, but yeah, other clusters were likely not born on August 8 (and IIRC, JMS said 8 isn't the only number of members a cluster can have).
They just wanted to do something a bit fun with the main cluster, and put 8s everywhere (though it leads to time zone

Having both Bruce Spence characters being the same guy would be even dumber, since it would negate the Gyro Captain's arc in The Road Warrior (he settled as the new leader for the refinery people).

Bruce Spence played different characters though.

Glad "Goodbye Moonmen" showed up. Always thought it was the most underrated Natalie is Freezing song.

Sky, not BBC. Final episode dropped too.

Fuck me, I'm gonna miss this show. As close as we're ever gonna get to a real life version of Ball Fondlers.

I'm not sure whether this is a step up or a step down from American Horror Story.
