I like how this show focus on politic, relationship and plotting. Because real pirating are pretty boring. I mean they sailing for month without anything to do. Once a week, they'll spot a ship and they don't even know if that ship worth looting. If you expect pirate to be exiting, you must be delusional.

It's obliviously not a calculate move. But she always dislike the way vane captain his ship. This is not the first time she try to undermine Vane. She stopped giving him merchant ship schedule even before the first episode. She always consider him unreliable.

But is Eleanor action is really just "momentary bouts of anger"? Considering that the result is she striped her enemy of his ship and crew then strengthen her ally with them. And the best of all, her enemy don't even blame her. He blame himself. Her action also justified in the eye of other pirate. She didn't unfairly…
