Blue Ruin is great (watch it on Netflix).

If someone had told me three months ago I not only would be watching a show called Selfie but that I'd be really sad it was cancelled I wouldn't have believed them. I hate ABC.

Several Bond movies returned to Netflix recently (why do they keep disappearing?), and as usual, the allure of 007 proved to be too powerful to resist. I watched From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, and The Living Daylights, and I will watch For Your Eyes Only (god, that theme song…) and maybe one other tonight. Bad

Dating is NOT fun. It is a horrendous experience (at least if you're a pretty extreme introvert like me).

I wonder if part of it is that the people designing these sites have freakishly fast internet, whereas many people (like me) don't.

That was a great read on one of my favorite movies. Everything about it is great, but that early tracking shot is one for the ages. (Leonardo Dicaprio as Dirk? Bullet. Dodged.)

Looks good, can't wait!

I will believe it when I see it.

I actually have come to really like the supporting cast as much as Eliza and Henry. Charmonique and Sam are in particular hilarious. I hope they all find better shows/movies where they get the support they deserve, unlike at ABC.

I stopped watching this show after the first season. I'm really glad now that I did.

Finally got around to watching Doctor Who. I actually started with the last Amy Pond episode (The Angels Take Manhattan) and then watched the other four series 7 episodes. I liked them much more than I thought I would (it doesn't hurt that Amy is nice to look at, and she has that sexy Scottish accent to boot). I

Oh God my brother is into that and even got my parents to attend something related to it (I can't remember what). No thanks (after reading up on it, it started sounding like the cult from Dennis Lehan's Sacred-which is a great book btw…)

The Americans is a great show that gets hardly any attention; the acting in particular is fantastic and yet the two main leads haven't even been nominated for Emmys).

Between the name, the fact that the show had no lead-in, Eliza's obnoxiousness (at least early on), and exploding barf bags, it's amazing this show made it to 13 episodes.

Me too. But at least we get to see all the episodes…

Bring back Karen Gillan in 1) a better show (not that Selfie was bad…) and 2) where she uses her Scottish accent.

I will try to locate some!

I love Yo La Tengo! I saw them at First Avenue in the mid-90s and even saw Ira and Georgia in a record store before the show (maybe not cool to NYers but to me was pretty awesome). Blue Line Swinger is my favorite long YLT song, with Tom Courtenay being my favorite shorter song. But really, there are very few bad YLT

Yeah, I have no interest in watching Catherine Keener as a bad guy.

The first Wall Street is great. The sequel (which I rewatched the other day) is pretty bad.
