In practice the only employment in communist states is the state so not sure how they can oppose the state and its institutions. Look at Cuba, China, etc where else can you work besides the state or it's institutions?

I'm confused are communists not allowed to work at the IRS? She was on suicide watch post election and was a Bernie fan only farther left than him. Is it not ok to call people that when that's what they are?

Executive branch = governor - Jesse Ventura
Legislative branch = Senate/House - Al Franken

At the time I think he ran a good campaign. I'm not disputing that your gram loved him. But I think the verdict after the fact was that he was a failed experiment. IMO the deck was stacked against Ventura like they're stacked against Trump now.

I just know what my colleagues in MN say-that he was a disaster. Interviews with Ventura these days sound like an interview with Alex Jones (and not in a good way). He's a 9/11 truther which is bad enough for me.

My boss describes himself as a moderate republican from St. Paul (I'd call him left of center) he says that Ventura was an unqualified disaster fiscally who devastated state finances. My boss's wife who's a communist that works at the IRS probably says the same thing and worse.
