I seem to remember these were known as 'feelies'. The Lurking Horror came with some good stuff inside - like a creepy-crawly bug.

New Bardo Pond long player out on 24th March. Nothing else on the horizon of interest for me.

Just ordered Ghost Breakers (1940) on DVD, with delivery just in time for Halloween. And I've recently watched The Cat and the Canary also staring Bob Hope. Love those old comedy horrors. Also, I still have Dark Water on DVD to watch again - only seen it once after it first came out and blimey, what a scary movie

I would include Keeblin on this list. It's a track tucked away in the Out There single. Such a delicate, moving song and one of my favourites by Dinosaur Jr.

Yeh, that's probably the most accessible for anyone new to Dinosaur Jr. I have this on 10" picture disk which includes Turnip Farm and Forget It, all on the same side of the record. It's a terrific listen.

Been listening to this kind of music at Valerie Cherie since 2008. Sounds kinda dated now though. Check out artists like Anoraak, College and of course John Carpenter's Lost Themes.

Needs a Bonnie Tyler soundtrack.

Beaut! Is Leon still a Vegetable? "New Shoes".

Would love to see Bobby Briggs and Shelley team up again.

I grew up watching these portmanteau horror films. Although sometimes based upon American horror comics, there is something very British about them. I love the story of the wife chopped up in the cellar - scared the sh*t out of me when I saw it in '84.
