The Paris agreement asks each country to set its own goals and then suffer no consequences if they fail to meet those goals. There aren't really any downsides, but not many upsides either. The other night, a 22 year old asked me what kind of music I listen to and I honestly didn't know how to answer. I have almost no personal investment in genres at this point. I could name bands, but that really just means they have a song or two that I like.
