My biggest issue with this is that it's not a particularly good song, from any angle.

Very funny episode, however it's a massive disappointment that they decided to shill for Hillary.

Terrible fucking episode.

"And as readers, we’re all just as responsible for its existence as the media outlets who publish it."

The UFO thing, in my mind, is Man Who Wasn't There inspired.

I agree, and stand corrected. I think this will be the first one that is directly related to the plot, however…

I've heard them use that phrase too a bunch. I forgot about the Jewish fable. I stand corrected, though this is the first reference that seems like it will be directly related to the plot in some way.

Yeah, it's an amazing movie, and underrated…

Yeah, it was kind of funny, almost a meta-moment, Hank's reference to it in this episode.

My close-caption actually said "Gale:" for that line, I assume they had access to a script.

Like I wrote above, I'm pretty sure we have our first A Serious Man reference with Hank's obsession with those symbols…

The discovery of Hank's obsessive, symbol drawings, as far as I can tell, is the series' first direct reference to "A Serious Man" (Richard Kind's manifesto). Have there been other references?

Pentalogy?
