Giving this an A just because we finally got some more time for Beach City Eyepatch Man.
Giving this an A just because we finally got some more time for Beach City Eyepatch Man.
I have OCD, and it was pretty bad throughout college; in my second year, there was a guy in the dorm next to mine who'd always play music loud at night, have loud sex at 10 in the morning, smoke weed and then douse the room in Glade so the entire floor smelled like someone cut up a strawberry and put it in a spliff;…
It's weird, but I've never thought Mundt's "Heil Hitler" was sarcastic until this comment. I always took it at face value, that Mundt was kind of the flip side of Barton's "common man" worship; populism quickly curdling into fascism
I've always wondered what would happen if Ethan Coen wrote for Jim Davis! -Bill Murray, 2003
One thing I will always love Paranorman for is that it perfectly captures how off-puttingly horrible Salem's marketing of the witch trials is. Seriously, that town is like half lovely New England port and half very poorly thought out theme park
I saw this last night and wow. Just, wow. This movie was beautiful, both from animation perspective and an emotional perspective. For once, I was fine to spend a Saturday night crying to myself in a theater full of families
"It's the social contract! THE SOCIAL CONTRACT!"
Oh Les is a very kind fellow!
Just watching the opening credits of this episode, with Bojack wandering the completely empty, destroyed house, broke my heart
Also, show of hands, who else was really thrown off that Jill Pill turned out to be a spider and not a pillbug? Because that messed me up hard during the first episode
"They only paid me to say it once, then they doubled it for another episode. Cheap bastards"
I've followed her twitter since before she got hired for SU; it was really cool to see someone's career progress from making art and comics as a side project to working on a show they were a huge fan of. She deserves so much fucking better than this, and I really hope she's able to stop being hounded by fans who are…
Just for the record, when talking about Todd Chavez's hidden depth, the correct nomenclature is "(he) contains multiTodds"
That final scene was one of the most gut wrenchingly beautiful pieces of television I've seen since…well, probably something else from this show. Or Mad Men; one of the two. I will say that I did really like how this season added to the overall arc in Bojack's progression from where he was in the pilot. The first…
On that note, it just hit me that Lil' Butler would've started airing in 2001, and that fact has been messing me up
One thing I never caught until now was that Bojack is still a horse. In the first episode he says something along the lines of "I weigh 800 pounds, it'd take a lot of beer to get me drunk." And even he'd been blacking out all through the bender, and could barely handle the heroin.
*sets my computer on fire because I don't know how to react to this level of sadness*
It's been established that Quartz's are probably able to break a gem with their bare hands, if the first Jasper/Amethyst fight is anything to go by, so there's a chance she just grabbed the gem and smashed it
*cut to Greg Universe, simulcast on every projector in gem territory, trying to explain sex to a bunch of ancient, deathless space rocks*
Steven: Cookie Cat!? But they discontinued you!
