yeah this and The Hangover are two movies where I seriously questioned the rest of the world's sense of humor.

that part actually caught me off guard as well.
haha, awesome! I might be hallucinating this, but I could've swore he had a short-lived tv show on MTV where he went around giving people life advice and helping them party as hard as they could.
I am American, I dont' remember it getting a ton of airplay. I discovered it because it was the opening song to one of my favorite quirky 90's films, Playing By Heart. I didn't realize they were Canadian!
another good one from the '90s: Bran Van 3000-"Drinking in LA"
I LOVE Three Strange Days!
holy shit, I remember my brother bought his album, the rest of it was not bad.
both great songs. Andrew WK puts on a great live show. between every song he would say in this hilarious growly wrestler voice "are you all ready to PARTY HARD?!" he genuinely seemed like he cared whether or not partying was being done hard enough.
Forest For the Trees-"Dream". you know the one, with the bagpipes. https://www.youtube.com/wat… I was obsessed with this song in high school, the whole album still holds up.
wow, seriously? that's a shame.
yeah, every new reveal someone spills about this movie makes it more of a must watch in my book.
oof, that one was so awful.
oh GOD, that fucking movie. I remember Ebert and Roeper was still on at the time, and Ebert went hard on that movie the likes of which I had never seen.
I just spit out my coffee, damn you.
I was visiting my MIL and had to watch a few episodes with her, and soo many moments made me want to throw something. At one point the discussion of women taking their husbands' last names came up and one of the daughters asked the mom if she ever considered keeping her name after she married dad. her response was…
huh?
the unidentified whale sound makes me think of that episode of Torchwood where that weird space whale came through the rift and the people started cutting it up for meat…
eh, I'm a huge Hamilton/Daveed fan, and I laughed my ass off. "Do the eel roll!" he also made fun of himself on Blackish when he performed terrible slam poetry.
definitely check out the doc, Jeff Ament really spills the tea at one point and calls Eddie out for some shit. good times.
totally! I think it happened when I was 13, maybe? took some getting used to but certainly wasn't this life-defining experience everyone seemed to hype it up as.
