yeah admittedly I did bring that on myself.

I read this when I was 12 and did not relate to the protagonist at all. I even went to my mom and asked her if other girls were obsessed with getting their periods and boobs. I felt like a weirdo for not wanting either of those things to happen for a good long while.

same! SLC Punk especially.

SHOPLIFTERRRR!!!!!!

agreed. love your name, BTW!

haha YES, my Hamilton-saturated brain now sometimes just has lines from the songs repeating in my head.. just let me rest, LMM!

I recently discovered them and agree completely. their songs are such earworms too! I frequently get the guitar intro to Waterfall stuck in my head.

One moment I always loved was when him and Vanessa were drinking and laughing and she comes onto him and he was all gently "No, you're drunk…it wouldn't be right." its such a quiet moment of acting for Myers but it made me love the character.

I really liked that scene as well, also I think the one following that where he's in a bar and getting made fun of because of his clothes. Myers sold the hell out of his lonely out of place feeling for the character.

oh I'm so glad they didnt' go that route.

agreed. American TV makes such a big damn deal out of it whenever they deign to make a character LGBT (especially with a male character). British TV is just more matter of fact about it, like it's no big deal.

oh man, I felt like a perv lusting after him, but luckily he's 22 in real life. whew!

yeah okay, yes there are major issues with how it wrapped up, but that moment had me sobbing like a little girl.

gawd, her smirk! I did not understand why so many fans loved her.

oh to be able to watch it again for the first time…enjoy the ride!

goddammit, I'm not a crier at ALL, but something about seeing someone else cry makes me tear up in sympathy. bah!

hands down my favorite Who two-parter.

I was front row for it too. Best. Night. Ever.

I like Letterman, but there are so many other musicians that would've made sense. Springsteen, Stipe, Chris Cornell, Carrie Brownstein to name a few. oh well maybe he'll make a really funny speech.

I recently found out he was responsible for one of the greatest setlists I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing at a Pearl Jam show, so yeah I think he should've gotten this.
