his scared "Vampires!?" always makes me laugh.

agreed, every note of this episode works. My favorite part is after the "you're beneath me" line, Spike is sitting in the alley, starting to choke up as he's picking up the money and this change just comes over his face. It's just some of the best acting in the whole series.
"On the hood of a police car?! TWICE!!???" best callback ever.
one of the most rewatched episodes for me, by far. Marster's acting just knocks it out of the park.
SAME.
ack, can't forget that! him squabbling with Angel was the best part of that season.
Spike is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. Evil Spike, chipped Spike, ensouled Spike, it's all good. his character's journey is just so compelling to me.
Such a good speech, followed by "hold on, just let me eat this guy" I may be misquoting it but it still made me laugh my ass off.
I remember all the sarcastic ones that came out after Titanic mania: "The boat sank. Get over it." and I thought they were THE. HEIGHT of hilarity. punch yourself in the face, teenage me.
I…..had that same shirt. it was a gift though, I swear!
ahhhh, I forgot the liquor store closes at 8!
"'nother helping of filth for ya?"
"Can I discipline you?"
Get out of my mezzanine!
ooh! fresh towels in the guest room!
*spills beer from looking up too fast* "Yeah?"
mentioning Brad Pitt made me remember one of the worst films ever, The Mexican. my parents rented it because the trailers made it look like light-hearted romp, boy were they wrong. I can't believe we watched it all the way through.
you're not kidding!
the book series that it's based on is really good, fyi.
THIS. thank you.
