I found him surprisingly good in Something's Gotta Give. He had this low-key charisma that worked with everyone he shared a scene with.
I did a double take when I saw this on the tv guide schedule; a Tracy Letts sitcom, the same guy who wrote Killer Joe and August, Osage County?
as someone who has seen every episode of degrassi jr high to whatever hellscape incarnation is happening on netflix right now, agreed.
I remember the kid cancer one because I was JTT's age at the time and became temporarily terrified every time I had a cough, but jeez the mom had a coke problem? tha fu?
YES thank you! I remember that episode jarringly well!
I was just going to write the same thing.
um one of my first jobs out of high school was at Denny's and let me tell you, those creamers sat on tables all day then were scooped back into the fridge for the next days' breakfast rush. that's actually why I drink black coffee to this day.
I'm too afraid to google what elephant ears are so I'll take your word for it.
I had Dippin Dots when I was 10 years old at Six Flags and got food poisoning so bad I had to be hospitalized. stop making me like you, Spicer.
I'm also in my thirties and I've seen all of the original series, Next Generation, and beyond. not ashamed.
wait, Lucy was blinded? they showed her leaning on a cane in the present day shots and she referenced her multiple surgeries to be able to walk again, but I totally didn't pick up that she was blind also.
holy hell, I just got a flashback to watching The Stand…that was…amazingly awful.
I highly recommend it, it wasn't the laugh fest that the previews made it seem but it was way better than I expected.
the queerbaiting was stomach-turning. I'm a straight gal in my thirties, but if I were a young queer viewer I would feel pretty bad right now, honestly.
completely agree. between Fargo, Startup, Sherlock and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot he has cemented his place as one of my favorite actors.
Question: I see this in nearly every review and comment, but why are they referred to as Sherlock and Watson? Why not Sherlock and John? Or Holmes and Watson? why be so formal with John? just an observation that's been niggling at me.
that episode…I literally screamed at the TV. she seriously was agog at her friends the scene before that they had money saved because "does no one else buy shoes?!" then she had the nerve to rip into Charlotte. omg. fuck Carrie.
Agreed. See: Seeking a Friend For the End of The World. what's the point? ETA: it's a Chris Cornell song, in case people didn't know.
Pearl Jam did a 20th anniversary reissue of Ten with the album remixed and stripped down without all of the studio flourishes and it was actually really great. it would be cool to hear U2 do the same to this album.
