I saw Richard III awhile ago and I don't think it's a spoiler to say that it is some of the best work I've ever seen from Cumberbatch. just amazing work, IMO. yes he's odd-looking but the dude can act.

I have some quibbles about the direction the show took, but IMO it's worth a watch for Martin Freeman's character alone. he is absolutely mesmerizing.
