This is maybe the second time I've ever stopped watching an episode of TV right in the middle—not even at a commercial break but in the middle of a scene. Ugh.

Sigh. I feel like this is one of those Grey's seasons where you can see all the effort behind the allegories and streeeetching out the Alex plot and finally setting up the Richard arc for the season, etc. It still works for me because I feel like after all this time I know these characters and their stories better…
