I am definitely up for some PPL type masked dance with the big reveal.

Yep! That has to be a concious nod right?

Generally *I really want to watch that show why can't I stream it in the UK*

I'm a millenial too, just from the UK!

THAT'S why I know his name. Also yes to the oldness feels.

Pretty Little liars, but more so is exactly what i came to this show for incidentally! I think 'Teen murder mystery'is my favourite tv genre. I don't know what that says about me.

I was legit waiting for someone to tell Archie to get his head in the game in the football scenes.

Stories don't exist in a vacuum. You don't get to ignore the external things. Plus one of my points is about the way she was killed off.
Also, how is being killed by a stray bullet not meant for her essential to Lexa's characterisation?

So I missed the specifics there. As in, the show was only showing Poils because Clarke was there, they could choose to not show that side of the story. AMC were happy to negotiate over Debnam-Carey appearing on both shows. Killing her off was a choice and a bad one. Also you are ignoring half my points.

A) I assume they aren't interchangeable to other viewers. It was more a point of if a show needs to kill a character, then maybe choose one that isn't representing a minority.
B) They had already written a way for Lexa to be leaving. Her and Clarke had sex because of that. Killing her off was lazy as well as ignorant.
C

It's more complicated than that. Firstly, Lexa was already leaving, they didn't need to kill her to write her off. Secondly, she got killed off in the scene immediately after having sex with another woman. Plus the show runners made a whole song and dance on social media about how they weren't going to go down that
