The inclusion of that film confused me. I assumed he was in the camp of "I am not even going to bother trying an accent", much like John Malkovich in the Three Musketeers film.

I think that actually was a Disney film, just one of those crappy straight to video ones.

I'm a bit more forgiving of the Anastasia actually survived story, purely because for the greater part of the 20th Century, they hadn't found the bodies and there were actually some high-profile Anastasia pretenders around. Wasn't it only about 5-10 years ago that they actually found and DNA-proved the remains?

I saw this on the weekend as well. I don't think there are a lot of references that you'll miss that would hugely spoil the plot. The main advantage of being familiar with the books/movies is stuff like the spells they use/refer to, the fact that decades before HP there was another dark wizard on a rampage. I think

I adore this movie. I can never really pin down a favourite Disney film, but this one is definitely top 5 and frequently battles The Little Mermaid for top billing. It really proves that Howard Ashman's death was a huge loss to Disney.

For just songs, I would go with The Little Mermaid. For the orchestral score, The Lion King.

I love Tarzan and maintain it's horribly underrated. The backgrounds are incredible, the music is great (I unashamedly love Phil Collins) and Tony Goldwyn and Minnie Driver do a great job. Plus - Brian Blessed.

Worth it purely for the costumes.

I greatly enjoy (and by enjoy, I mean laughing so I don't cry at the fact Trump got in), that in a country where voting is voluntary, people actually sacrificed their time to go write in a joke candidate.

Xo didn't say that, but I feel that's what Jane got out of that discussion.

There's also that new guy on Legends of Tomorrow that went to Oliver for help. But by that point pretty much everyone knew Oliver was the Arrow.

I think Iris is there to routinely give Barry pep talks about how much they all believe in him, which in turns inspires him to run that bit faster.

I agree you can't come back from murder, but I would place willfully stealing someone's last chance to choose the mother of their children as pretty unforgivable.

Although, that talk with Xo lead to Jane thinking she'd be having a marriage where she'd probably never feel satisfied and being okay to put up with that. Which was a little sad.

To a lesser extent, people were still cheering for Raf/Petra last season despite all the crap she'd pulled like falsely accusing him of abuse, multiple attempts at blackmail, stealing his last sample and having children by deception etc etc. I didn't understand that, either.

Hang on, cake stalls aren't a thing at US election polling sites?

It was nicely done, but I'm not really a fan of the whole "son, I'm dying. You need to man up/be the man of the house/look after your mother" thing. Presumably, the mother is a responsible adult that can look after herself AND her kid, instead of the kid growing up thinking he has to be an adult ahead of his time.

I don't know about that - he's filmed the Prison Break revival and didn't he sign up to be a recurring character across the Arrowverse?

Complete stranger and also massive tool.

When she goes back and rewrites the original novels to little discernible difference except for screwing with fan favourite details, then I'll be upset. She's got a long way to go before she's in Lucas territory.
