While this was a fairly fun episode, it basically ignores the last few in making Cisco suddenly chirpy again (not that mopey Cisco was any good). I also laughed when Jessie was going on about how Barry never makes mistakes (or something like that) - obviously she wasn't really paying attention when her dad was chewing

I think there was conversation last week about how metas developed their powers at different rates - maybe Joe to Wally? I suppose they're just going to say that it took longer for Caitlin's powers to develop after the initial explosion, but no real explanation as to why this timeline's Caitlin developed them and not

I don't know if he was hipster so much as 1990s Wells.

I believe she did actually sue over the news being leaked by a lawyer either connected to her or her publisher, and the guy got fined by the relevant legal authority.

And Sookie.

Is that an enormous picture of Richard in the background of the dinner scene at Emily's? Is Emily the sort to have an enormous shrine-like portrait installed?

Didn't she take up golf for one episode?

50s, surely?

I just rewatched Sky High on Netflix on the weekend and immediately thought "Where is the sequel?".

I rewatched this yesterday and heartily agree. Although you could have done that recommendation in haiku form.

You think Padalecki was "boyishly charming" in that episode of Gilmore Girls? If I recall correctly, that's the one where he was a dick about going, had Rory bargaining about how long they had to stay there, then got in a pissing contest with Tristan which culminated in him showing off his nasty temper (admittedly, he

Still need to get rid of Rip though, in my opinion. He blows.

This exact plot was also used on another of those crimes of the week shows - I want to say CSI Cyber, but that would be admitting that I've actually seen an episode of that show.

New Zealander.

Felicity's mother was fun in small doses as comic relief. Bringing her in for more episodes and getting her involved with Lance was overkill, so I'd agree with adding that to the list!

Very true. The writers have made a lot of missteps when it comes to Felicity to serve other characters or the plot.

I'll admit to being really hesitant to actually watch this episode, because I really disliked how things went down at the end of season 4 and with the news of the new team members.

Plus I think the writers pissed him off by having Thea beat his character up in season 3.

One assumes that Felicity has been given a boyfriend purely to cause "tension" between her and Oliver and also for the inevitable reveal that he is a villain.

The new recruits are something I'm really not looking forward to. As you say, it diluted the fight scenes and it meant that Dig got shafted on screentime. This is a show that needs more Diggle.
