But then we'd still have Laurel. And not Lance and his fabulous line chewing.

I went to a "geek quiz" hosted by the local games society last week and my team came 2nd last. Which was cool because we then got prizes (Flash tshirt for me), but it really cemented the fact that I am nothing more than a mainstream nerd.
Team Cap. It was released in Australia last week and I took my mother (who loved it). It's up there with Winter Solider for me.
I'll agree with you from Ra's on, but I'm pretty sure Felicity was the only person encouraging Oliver to find another way when everyone was demanding he kill Slade.
I think the only way they could have had that play out well is by Laurel breaking it off and immediately feeling guilty about Tommy. She didn't want to start things up with Oliver at the start of season 2 because of Tommy, so she should have had some negative reaction in the flashbacks instead of wanting to play house.
I feel like there should have been more chest clutching and fumbling for heart pills. MISSED OPPORTUNITY.
"He….uh, he…well he had very nice hair."
Well he knows that the Lazarus Pit has been destroyed, so that option is out. His favour from Constantine has been used. The only other option is Barry travelling back in time and changing the future and I doubt we're going to see that happen.
I'd agree with that. Grant Gustin's strengths as an actor do not include acting like the mopey, angsty hero.
Her canary cry also looked like she was constipated. Why is it so hard to make that look cool?
In fairness, Felicity does go into murder encouragement mode a lot these days.
I wonder if they were toying with making it Felicity in the grave when they initially filmed that scene. I think Oliver's reaction was more in tune with losing Felicity than Laurel.
But also hours after Oliver went to Tommy and told him that he wouldn't stand in the way of he and Laurel (IIRC).
They should have just had big flashing arrows on the screen at that point.
They did rewrite Laurel's season 2 storyline a bit by having her fairly jolly before Oliver left. I'd assumed that Oliver left Starling City basically straight after the earthquake and that Laurel very quickly descended into her rage spiral. Now it looks like she was fine and that her new/old boyfriend leaving…
Can we say they both suck in that instance?
I thought exactly the same. Season 2 Laurel was angry, bitter, guilty and drunk. Yet here we have Laurel openly making moon eyes at Oliver and saying how excited she is for the future ONE WEEK after Tommy died.
What were your thoughts on Sara as Canary? Compared to Laurel/Katie Cassidy, I thought Caity Lotz had the physicality to convincingly pull off the fight scenes and the costume was better. Laurel's costume looked too much like a costume - too many buckles, the dark lipstick was OTT and the mask was designed to show off…
Come on, everyone loves those videos! They just don't like to admit it to anyone.
Excellent. I think everyone needs at least one show like that in their watchlist. I'm currently streaming Hart of Dixie to fulfill that spot, but this is getting added to my list.
