I saw it at a critic screening Tuesday and I STILL don't really know what the hell I just saw. Spoilers abound, but this pretty much sums up the first 3/4 of the plot

BUTCH DEADLIFT
You'll shit yourself when you see why it's named LION. I had to restrain myself from laughing my way out of the theater.
Not to plug myself too much, but I reviewed it here if anyone is interested: http://lewtonbus.net/review…
So I saw this at a local film festival and this is a very charitable rating. The first half is pretty solid, following a young Saroo through his insane journey that eventually ends with him in Australia. The 2nd half, however, is dogshit. It hits all the melodramatic cliches without earning them and turns Saroo…
It's the comedy version of Shawshank - It's gained a massive following due to it being a TV staple (Yes, I realize SR was did well on initial release, but it's now the #1 movie on IMDB due to TNT running it constantly)
DDL has that. I can't read Lincoln quotes without hearing them in his casual, higher pitched tone.
Is this online somewhere? I need to read this stupidity to believe it…
Could have done almost every Metal band in the history of metal (Judas Priest have had 3, Iced Earth have had 3, Dream Theater with 4, Accept with 5, etc).
Colour my World was the song My mom and I danced to at my wedding. Chicago RULES
Better Off Dead is the greatest movie ever made, and I will hear no ill talk of it!
Having her dad be played by her IRL husband would be something that might actually get me to see this in theaters, to be fair.
Arizona is awful even before you get to politics. Especially Fountain Hills (not Scottsdale) where this was filmed.
Yeah, everything about this "article" is awful
Definitely Willem Dafoe
Arizona smells funny (and is racist).
Well, that was a thing that happened.
I doubt it's the biggest advertising budget. I'd say it's probably on par with what Marvel has been doing. Not to mention Star Wars P&A budget had to be fairly large. If I remember right BVS's was at like $150 mil. not chump change, but I can't imagine it's the biggest
Right now it's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at like $410, but this might be more when all is said and done
