What I got from Rory's conversation with Christopher was that she was going to choose to leave Logan out of her child's life like Lorelai did Rory's father (although, if he's supposed to be Christopher pt.2 beat for beat then he won't put up much of a fight).

It's been some time since I've watched the back half of the series, but I remember Logan as being genuinely charming, and a deep-down romantic. Yeah, he makes mistakes, and he starts off as a cad, but he genuinely wants to be a better person for Rory. They definitely had the most chemistry out of all of her boyfriends

I agree that the 30 somethings were supposed to be more complacent than Rory. There was a kind of creepy hive-mind vibe to them, too. I thought they more represented the dark side of the "lovable quirks" of the town. You could see them repeating the same phrases to each other ten years from now.

"Reciprocal honesty" is a great way to frame Christine's relationship to her clients, and to explain the lack of intimacy in her other relationships. In some ways it made the worldview of the show pretty cynical, though; there was so little genuine warmth or friendship between any of the characters that you can't

A lot of people talking about the show try and put Christine in a box, but I think there's a lot of space between 'damaged sociopath' and 'liberated woman', and the finale reflects that. While Christine is successful and even triumphant on some levels, the scenes definitely felt mundane, which seemed like a
