I pulled it because it's the part of the interview most relevant to the article. The tweet linked to in this article cuts off right before he answers the question in the way the interviewer wanted. There was no way to judge the validity of the article without pulling the particular quote I pulled, and I think it fails

Like what? I read the article, I don't see anything particularly/necessarily objectionable.

With the comedies, I've never not laughed my way through them. I love the combination of the intellectual and the silly in something like Love and Death. Sleeper has great character moments, especially from Keaton. The things he satirizes are things I'm familiar with and enjoy seeing sent up.

"But has she changed you in any way?

I love Bond. And I couldn't care less about Superman. So I must differ with you!

From Hawking I've only read A Brief History of Time. I've recommended The Demon-Haunted World by Carl Sagan before. It takes a strong stance, but he was a pretty nice guy, and could be fairly "open-minded" on occasion. The end of Contact (the novel) is downright deist!

Only the jerk atheists would want to give out a copy of that. They give the rest of us a bad name.

No thank you! But good luck with your endeavors.

The best-choreographed and best-shot swordfight I've ever seen is Sean Connery vs Robert Shaw toward the end of "Robin and Marian."

Much like putting "an" in front of "historical." ;)

The Tale of Ernestine

I really want to go to Muldoon's. Big portrait of the man himself over the fireplace. Fur rugs and taxidermy everywhere.

I'm Really Impressed, Internet!

I loved The Martian, but honestly, it was more funny than dramatic. Purposefully so.

Mondays at 7 (maybe 8 depending on your timezone!)

I didn't like the mid-show field segments, but I like Mark. I don't see why Mark can't still hang around the set, even without those segments.

I think a lot of it is the weak, slow-paced delivery throughout.

I think that might be backwards.

Shatner as Kirk and Nimoy as Spock. They really need to stop screwing with those characters, both actors became icons on the basis of their highly eccentric performances.

Crowe gets a lot of hate, but I can't help it, I really like the guy.
