I agree, I think they are both terrible and people just trying to get through life. Pretty much like everyone. I liked the first season very much, this season is really good as well.

The Maillard reaction is between sugars and amino acids/protein. It is one of the reasons food is amazing. I love to cook.

If you soak them overnight it doesn't take that long. And, when done add salt pepper and a ton of sautéed garlic and onion. I do this with kidney and black beans all the time in winter.

Just so everyone knows, the way to eat magic mushrooms is to just choke them down by themselves. Mixing them with food is stupid, it just makes the food taste like mushrooms, which is shit. Take it from someone who used to grow these type of mushrooms. You are welcome.
