Yeah I watched it as a kid and thought it was the weirdest episode of Quantum Leap I'd seen. Like, I kinda got it mixed up with the episode where he leaps in to a P.I.

Also they played it here as a Twilight Zone episode. I watched it because … it was sort of referenced in an HBO show I guess I won't spoil, so I more or less knew how it would go. Didn't ruin it for me at all though, still really really enjoyed it.
