Storylines come from real-life cases: that's what I love about Elementary the most.

I hate to point it out but I think the writers might have forgotten Alfredo and Clyde, or at least, don't know what to do with them. But since they did manage to bring Sherlock's mute French friend Luc back, and hopefully Kitty being the next return, I hope they would give them a storyline eventually.
* Oh Clyde! Missed you so much! Really glad that you get to crawl around breathing fresh air.
* Nice plot twists. Although the killer still turn out to be the first person they questioned — a weird Elementary tradition, I do like the feeling of solving convoluted crimes.
* I don't see any parallel to the election in…
I think the community grade this week speaks volumes.
It has somehow been the show's "tradition". Last season they didn't even introduce the main plot until the very last episode.
It suddenly occurs to me that Clyde made his first appearence right after the episode where Sherlock first heard about Moriarty… Wow. Clyde is truely a terrific spy - using his cuteness to fool Sherlock while gathering information. Being forced to hibernate in the fridge makes missions much harder though.
Joan drank water from the bowl where Clyde takes his baths. Sensing a furious Clyde crawling towards us! He might arrive in three days. Get prepared folks.
2 people gave an "F"…
Elementary only got a 0.8 rating on its first Sunday evening. It was delayed due to the NCAA overrun, but still, this is a disappointing rating.
Little research: Does anyone come here to read the reviewer's comment and grade before watching an episode, like me? If you do, do you think reading reviews first affects your opinions about this particular episode?
Sorry, it should be "Are you crazy? I said get out of my house!" in Cantonese. My mistake.
She said "Get out of my house!" in Cantonese.
Yes I am aware, and I didn't mean to criticize anyone. Do you recall in the 4th episode in Season 1 where Sherlock speaks Mandarin? He was absolutely great saying that sentence. But considering Cantonese has nine kinds of intonation while Mandarin only has four, which makes prounouncing Cantonese a lot harder, I'd say…
Well as a native Cantonese I'm glad the show managed to find some actors who can speak decent Cantonese. The old lady's "癡線!"("That's bollocks!") should be line of the week in my perspective lol! That's exactly how we ordinary people say it in real life. But Sherlock's Cantonese… well all I can say is he really tried…
I look forward to your Clyde Watch every week. Thank you for your effort.
Over 10 episodes of not seeing Clyde once… Only saw his hibernation box in the fridge…
My top 3 episodes in the first half of Season 4(in order):
E07, E04, E03.
The 12th episode would have been on my list if it was stronger on the deduction part.
I've always worried about Elementary's quality drop. The writers clearly have the ability to write excellent stories but it seems they sometimes don't even try…
Well, I agreed with you until I saw the phrase "stupid brownstone"… I believe the Brownstone is essential to the show. Meanwhile looking at the preview for next week, it seems it's about a case of their neighbours. That would be fun.
He's already a ninja turtle. He has been saving female turtles in distress.
Yeah. Also I think S04E07 deserves an A-, only she didn't give one to it.
